A clever and amusing fairy tale twist, where the wolf is not the baddie (for once!)
An exciting lift-the-flap, peep-through adventure with a fun fairy tale twist! Wolf is a lean, mean, scaring machine! And he is definitely the ONLY baddie in this book. Or is he? Someone's been setting fire to bushes, scorching Granny's vegetable patch and burning down Troll's bridge. Could there be a bigger, badder beastie in this book? More importantly, can Wolf catch the imposter and become the hero of his story? This fabulous tale, with beautiful, bold illustrations from Lucy Semple, challenges stereotypes and encourages children to think about what makes us all good and bad.

Jude Evans was born and raised in South Wales. Growing up, her favourite things were books, singing, and exploring the countryside with the family dog. She’s worked as an editor, and then publisher, for over 25 years, helping create books for new generations of children to read. Her favourite things are still books, singing, and exploring the countryside whenever she travels outside of London, where she lives. She doesn’t have a dog of her own, but makes sure to say hello to every dog she meets . . .
Lucy Semple lives and works as a children’s illustrator in Nottinghamshire. She loves to create her art digitally but sometimes dabbles in traditional media in her own free time. She can often be found curled up with a book, a cup of tea in hand and her dachshund Frankie asleep on her knee.
